ROM88, PAVING THE WAY FOR HIGH-QUALITY WORK CLOTHING

In the Netherlands in the late 1980s, people were not satisfied with their work clothing because the quality and fits fell short of requirements. Those producing work clothing and promotional textiles were not coming up with the goods, but ROM88 changed that.

REVOLUTION IN THE BRANCH

At the time, work clothing was uncomfortable, colors faded rapidly after washing, and fabrics deteriorated and shrank rapidly. The ROM88 clothing label was developed by Peter van de Poel as an alternative to the dubious quality and fits of work clothing available at the time. The name ROM88 is derived from Romeinenweg number 88 in Oss, the place where the label was conceived and developed. High quality, comfort and beautiful fits were, and remain, the pillars on which the collection was based.

ROM88 BECOMES TRICORP CASUAL

ROM88 became part of Tricorp, and in 2015 it was renamed Tricorp Casual, alongside the other Tricorp labels Workwear, Specials, Corporate and Premium. ROM88 is fashionable clothing which, without loss of quality, can be intensively worn and washed as either work clothing or casual wear. ROM88 (Tricorp Casual) is an extensive range of polos, sweaters and T-shirts in certain colors and models.
