Stakeholders

Stakeholders

Stakeholders are indispensable for Tricorp in realizing our ambitions. In addition to active collaboration, we ensure that the cooperation is also evaluated, because we believe that good can always be better and beautiful can always be more beautiful.

  • Employees – employee satisfaction survey
  • Customers – customer satisfaction survey
  • Suppliers – audits
  • NGOs, trade unions – partnerships
  • Government – leading in legislation

With a clear ambition and the support of our stakeholders, only one thing remains: a plan to work towards that ambition. This plan consists of four pillars:

  • Pillar 1: A safe and sustainable product
  • Pillar 2: A social and sustainable process
  • Pillar 3: Circular textiles
  • Pillar 4: Transparency

Sustainable Development Goals

For Tricorp, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are an important guideline. With Tricorp’s social and environmental policies, we aim to make a positive contribution to these SDGs. We map the risks in our supply chain and internally, and work on improvements where needed. Several SDGs are our focus:

GENDER EQUALITY

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 5

Equal treatment for everyone is our commitment. We stay vigilant regarding gender-related issues both internally and throughout our production chain.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

Sustainable Development Goal 8

We ensure that our workwear is produced under good and safe working conditions. In our factory, we monitor issues such as overtime, freedom of expression, living wages, and workplace safety. In dialogue with our suppliers, we strive for a responsible purchasing process.

Responsible Consumption and Production

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 12

The textile sector is among the most polluting industries. Energy, water use, and CO2 emissions (footprint) can be high, and many chemicals and non-renewable resources are used. We work daily to reduce our footprint and make this transparent through impact sheets.

CLIMATE ACTION

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 13

Tricorp seeks greater insight into process and product details, making conscious choices with supply chain partners. To conserve resources, we focus strongly on extending the lifespan of our clothing, promoting reuse, and ensuring effective recycling.

LIFE ON LAND

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 15

We have examined the origin of our packaging materials. Our boxes are made from recycled cardboard, and we have recently switched our shipping bags from paper to plastic, which is easier to recycle.

PARTNERSHIP FOR THE GOALS

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOAL 17

Achieving our social and environmental policy goals is not something we can do alone. We prioritize collaboration with NGOs, unions, and other stakeholders to achieve our objectives, valuing their critical perspective. We seek open dialogue.
